Why do you support MS Australia?
I support MS Australia as both my mother and sister have MS.
How did you go about reaching your team Fundraising goal in 2009?
I just contacted as many people as I knew (via email) and asked them to join me on the ride and/or donate some money to the cause.
How easy and rewarding did your team find your fundraising?
It was as easy as writing an email then sending it to all my contacts. As to raising the money, it felt great to reach our fundraising target.
Do you have any tips for other fundraisers?
Plan how you are going to go about it, be persistent but try not to annoy anyone!
How did you go about organising a corporate team?
The team has grown from 5 colleagues in the first year to about 15 in 2009. It is about finding people who enjoy a ride and who are also happy that it goes hand in hand helping a good cause.
How did your ride go on the day?
The 2009 event was ridden in almost perfect weather conditions with very little wind and a mild temperature, so I would say my ride was perfect!
Will you be back bigger and better in 2010?
Of course!!
