Why do you support MS Australia?
It is a worthy cause that Hertz have supported previously here in Australia and in the US.
How did you go about reaching your Fundraising goal in 2009?
I called on family, friends and business associates who were all very supportive. It became a challenge between our Hertz team members to be the highest fundraiser!
How easy and rewarding did you find your fundraising?
The first time was the hardest ask after that it is easy. It was very satisfying to see how generous people were in contributing to this cause.
Do you have any tips for other fundraisers?
Don’t be afraid to ask. You will be surprised at how many people want to help make a difference. Just send an email to all your friends, it really is that easy.
How did your ride go on the day?
Given I had only started riding 4 weeks earlier I was very satisfied with my efforts. At the finish site our team had a corporate marquee which was fantastic as it gave us the opportunity to relax and unwind with our
team members.
Will you be back bigger and better in 2010?
Absolutely although I think I may have some competition within my team!
